Sudor is a lamp combining a chrome-plated steel frame and a flexible arm, designed to function as a modified clothes hanger. It allows users to drape or stretch clothing (thongs, boxers, t-shirts) or fabrics (handkerchiefs) over it, replacing a traditional lampshade. The lamp can be hung on the wall or placed on a table, with rubber stoppers for stability. The name *Sudor* (Spanish for “sweat”) reflects the project’s focus on bodily imprints, transforming sweat-soaked garments into atmospheric lighting for intimate spaces. The lampshade becomes an extension of the body, diffusing light through fabrics imbued with personal meaning.

The project explores themes of work, pleasure, intimacy, and the mutability of objects, blending functionality with conceptual art. It also includes a limited-edition photo zine (50 copies) created with Adrián Cuerdo, using a cinematic approach to visually narrate the lamp’s story. Sudor invites reflection on everyday actions, objects, and their emotional and sensory dimensions.
